Stephanie was born in Houston Texas. She grew up in Silt Colorado and moved to Denver with her mother at the age of ten.
Graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 1989 (very much the middle of the class.)
Graduated from Red Rocks Community College in 2005 with an AA.
Graduated from The University of Colorado at Denver in 2008 with a BA in Creative Writing.
Currently attending Colorado State University, working on her MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction.)
She lives in Fort Collins with her husband, John, and their daughter Emma.
